Santa Clarita Rotary Club Veteran's Project - Showing Our Fallen Heroes and Families That We Care

Santa Clarita Moving

My Rotary Club, located in Santa Clarita, California, does great work in our community. Recently they honored the 8 teenage boys who have given their lives for the country costs three years. Watching the moving ceremony and dedication helped me consider how fortunate I'm to be a point about this caring community, in addition to a person in the Rotary Club.

We always allow our guests to speak, inside them for hours former military is fairly an honor. Among the speakers was a former member of the usa Air Force, and that he described our community as a possible island. This brought some laughter, because Santa Clarita is situated in the midst of the desert. He proceeded to explain that what he meant was that individuals were unlike other towns and cities in California in that we're so concerned with the categories of these fallen heroes, along with helping the teenage boys and ladies who're getting back from their time overseas inside the defense force. Furthermore, i learned that we are probably the only states inside United States that doesn't provide a license plate to honor our soldiers. That might be a fantastic thing as we could purchase that to start out a fund to assist these brave warriors in addition to their families.

Our Rotary Club includes a garden where we've got marble tiles with the names of those who have died serving their country. A great honor and it's important for us to understand that these folks are making the greatest sacrifice to uphold the price all of us share.
